Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM), National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, have organised a five-day State-level Youth Festival from Mar. 28 to Apr. 1 at NSS Bhavan in Saraswathipuram here.
The Festival will be inaugurated tomorrow (Mar. 29) by Prof. M. Krishnegowda, Retired Principal of St. Philomena’s College. MCC Commissioner G. Jagadeesha and State NSS Officer Dr. Gananathashetty Ekkar will be present as the chief guests.UoM In-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof. C. Basavaraju will preside.
The valedictory of the Youth Festival will be held at 12 noon on Apr. 1 at the same venue.
Actor and theatre artiste Mandya Ramesh will deliver the valedictory address. GSS Foundation Founder Srihari, Regional Director of NSS Regional Centre, Bengaluru and Dr. Gananathashetty Ekkar will be present. UoM Registrar D. Bharathi will preside.
