City athlete Anjali B. Gupta won a bronze medal in Open category at the recently held State Senior Powerlifting Championship in Bhadravathi.
Anjali is trained under Sujay Janardhan who is a World Powerlifting Championship Silver Medallist.
Anjali is also a three time National Kickboxing Champion and an International Mixed Martial Arts fighter.
She trains combat sports at Genesis MMA under Samith Bhat.
