On account of several competitive exams to take place in the month of January 2024, the Depart- ment of Public Libraries, in the interest of examinees, students and the general public, has postponed the annual stock verification of books which was earlier scheduled to take place in all branch and service libraries from Dec.21, 2023 to Jan.31, 2024, during which the public were barred from borrowing or returning books. Following the postponement, the readers, students and other users can avail all the library facilities in city as usual, according to a press release.
