Over 20 candidates who are undergoing training for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP) at Karnataka Police Academy (KPA) were brought to the busy thoroughfares in city yesterday morning for practical training on traffic and pedestrian movement.
Apart from teaching them hand signals to control traffic converging on one single point, they were trained how to operate the signal lights in case power goes off. The teams were divided into batches of four and were deployed at various Circles in the heart of the city.
