Sir,
This refers to wrong parking of vehicles in front of Railway Station back gate towards CFTRI main gate side. Regularly articles on violations of traffic rules are published in SOM.
As a Traffic Warden and as a regular commuter to Bengaluru by Train, daily I see the people who come to drop their kith and kin, friends, relatives, travellers who use two-wheelers, autorickshaws, four-wheelers coming from CFTRI side, park their vehicles in front of the entry gate to the Railway Station even though there is a “NO PARKING” board display in three places which is very much visible to the riders and drivers. In spite of this they park just in front of the board to drop and pickup relatives.
Even though the Railway Police Station is besides the entry gate, the Police personnel on duty are not at all bothered to advise the people to remove the vehicles and make way to the passengers to move freely.
If the travellers who are having more luggage let them be dropped and move the vehicle from there and make way to others passengers.
Railway authorities too don’t seem to be bothered to implement the rules and clear the wrongly parked vehicles. Or are they negligent on this issue as it is a regular habit of the educated public in the city?
Also pre-paid autos are parked till the Railway Museum and opposite to that towards running room all the cabs and cars are regularly parked leaving a small way for the passengers to move up and down. I request the Railway authorities to address this issue and find out a solution for this problem.
