Special campaign to distribute loans being held at three banks; Loan distribution to be held on Mar. 6 and 13
Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), under PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme, a special micro-credit facility for street vendors, had organised a special drive to distribute loans to street vendors at three Regional Business Offices (RBOs) in city on Saturday.
About 200 beneficiaries were distributed loans at the Small and Medium Enterprises Centre of State Bank of India on Bamboo Bazaar Road. The loans were distributed by MCC Additional Commissioner N.M. Shashikumar.
The special drive is also being held at Bank of Baroda and Karnataka Bank and will also be held on Mar. 6 and 13 at the three RBOs. Till Feb. 26, 2021, 19,091 loan applications were received out of which loans for 8,260 applications have been sanctioned. Each beneficiary will receive a loan of Rs. 10,000. Community Affairs Officer Shivappa, Mission Manager Dr. G.S. Bhyralingaiah, RBO Chief Managers Santosh Shastry, Vibha Chandran and others were present.
