Student among four missing

Mysuru: A woman, along with her two children, has been reported missing from her mother’s house in Kuvempunagar here since  June 8.

The missing persons are 31-year-old Jyothi, her son nine-year-old Shashank and six-year-old daughter Keerthana.

The children were studying at Jyothi Convent in city and were staying at their grandmother’s house in Kuvempunagar.

Jyothi was married to one Mahadevaswamy of Nanjangud and the couple was residing at Toopinabeedhi   in Nanjangud.

But on June 8, Jyothi, who took her children to Nanjangud, saying that she would get her children admitted to a school there, has since gone missing, according to the complaint lodged by Jyothi’s mother Jayamma with Kuvempunagar Police.

In another case, 18-year-old student from Urwa in Mangaluru has gone missing.

The missing student is Adarsh, son of B. Jayesh of Urwa.

Adarsh left his house on June 6 telling that he was going to MRPL School to get his Rural Certificate and has since gone missing, according to the complaint. It is suspected that he may have come to Mysuru.
