Public thrash one of the gang members
Mysuru: A student was assaulted by a group of youths for silly reasons and the public who were at the spot during the assault, thrashed one of the youths in the group for creating ruckus before the Police took the youth into custody yesterday afternoon.
It is learnt that two students had indulged in a fight over petty issue and yesterday afternoon, one of the youth along with a gang of six youths, questioned one of the student and asked him to show the student who had indulged in a fight.
When the student replied in negative, the gang began to assault him near LIC Circle. Meanwhile, the public who was at the spot, caught hold of one of them and thrashed him.
The Police, who arrived at the spot, took the youth into custody and took him to N.R. Police Station. No complaint has been registered in this regard.
