Mysuru: Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD), run by the NR Foundation, had organised a visit for its students to the CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) in city on the occasion of Children’s Day on Nov. 14.
In all, 35 students from Class 8-10 were given this opportunity to expand their learning boundaries by visiting and observing the findings of CFTRI (A constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi).
Dr. Parigi Ramesh Kumar, Sr. Principal Scientist, facilitated the visit to the students to the Institute.
Speaking about the visit, R. Guru, Chairman, NR Group, said, “We think that a child learns better when they have real-world experiences, thus we make sure that at Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled they get chance to actually go through experiential learning process. Visit to CFTRI gives the students an insight into real world and happenings that prepares them for a better tomorrow.’
