Mysuru: Students of Nataraja Women’s PU College have opposed the State Government’s decision to design new Karnataka Flag.
The students, speaking at a seminar organised jointly by Mysuru Kannada Vedike and Nataraja Educational Institutions this morning, said that the currently Flag (with yellow and red colour) was emotionally attached to the citizens of the State and there was no reason for the State Government to come out with a new flag.
MDJA President K. Deepak, former Mayor B.L. Bhyrappa, writer Bannur K. Raju, Nataraja Women’s PU College Principal Dr. M. Sharada, Advocate R.D. Kumar and Vedike President Balakrishna were present on the occasion.
