Students underline the importance of water

Students of Swami Vivekananda Educational Institutions (SVEI) Composite Pre-University College, Mysuru, created a human chain shaped H2O that is the scientific name for water. This was their way to send across a message to the society on water conservation.

Later, students took oath to save natural water bodies through discussion and action. Picture right shows, at a specially convened Assembly, students and staff of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, Jayalakshmipuram, expressing their solidarity with Isha Foundation’s campaign ‘Rally for Rivers’ to preserve rivers of India. Dressed in all shades blue, students were explained about the importance and need to conserve rivers. An audio clipping that contained the message of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was played on the occasion. The students are seen with Dr. Vijayalakshmi Muralidhar, Secretary of Mahajana Education Society, Dr. S. R. Ramesh, CEO and Academic Advisor and Dr. S. Venkataramu, Principal.
