Mysore/Mysuru: Tourism Department Joint Director M.K. Savitha said that students should not get frustrated and can achieve success in their chosen field by constant pursuit of their goals and continued determination.
She was addressing aspirants attending coaching classes for competitive exams organised by Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Competitive Exams Coaching Centre at Ganga auditorium in KSOU Campus in Mukthagangothri here recently.
Asserting that a strong determination holds key for achieving big, she said that, however, at the same time, continuous preparations too is equally important.
“Before appearing for competitive exams, the aspirants should list what they should study, for which they can go through past and model question papers. Instead of reading a topic or subject matter only once, it is better to revise it often at every available opportunity. Also, it is vital to take part in serious group discussions, which will help a lot in exams,” she pointed out.
KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sharanappa V. Halse, in his address, said that KSOU is giving top priority for competitive exam coaching classes too. The aspirants must serve the society with humanity, no matter how high they go up in their career, he added.
KSOU Registrar Prof. K.B. Praveen, Academic Dean Prof. N. Lakshmi, Coaching Centre Co-ordinator Jainahalli Satyanarayanagowda, staff Siddesh Honnur, Ganesh K.G. Koppal and others were present.
