Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH), Mysuru, under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, will be holding a summer vacation programme for school children between the ages of 12 and 17 at its premises in Siddarthanagar here. The programme, to be held from May 15 to 20, will focus on environment conservation and natural history, aiming to educate and inspire young minds to become future conservationists.
It will include a variety of environmental educational and interactive activities to provide exposure to the rich biodiversity of the region and engage children through art and craft activities. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the natural world through guided nature walks, interactive sessions with experts, hands-on workshops, and field trips to local conservation areas. The summer programme will be conducted by a team of experienced educators and naturalists. Interested may register their names at RMNH before May 13.
