Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Thejasvi Naviloor, Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, who was suspended on charges of inaction over formulation of syllabus in 2022, has been cleared of all charges made against him.
District and Sessions Judge Gopal, who was the Inquiry Officer, conducted inquiry and found that the non-initiated similar action about the non-submission of syllabus of CBCS by other Head of the Departments goes to show that Delinquent Official (DO) Dr. Thejasvi Naviloor was targeted for the best reason known to them and passed the order on July 14, 2023, stating, “The charge against the DO — Dr. Thejasvi Naviloor, Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, KSOU, Mysore, is not proved and submitted enquiry report to the disciplinary authority, KSOU, Mysore, for taking necessary action.”
An official order from KSOU dated Aug. 29, 2023 and signed by the Registrar stated that Dr. Thejasvi Naviloor, Associate Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, has been cleared of all charges made against him and has been decided to provide him with financial and service facilities as per the rules.
