Suttur Seer condoles former Governor T.N. Chaturvedi’s demise

Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji of Suttur Mutt has paid rich tributes to former Karnataka Governor T.N. Chaturvedi (90) who passed away at Noida on Jan. 5. In a condolence message, the Seer recalled the services of Chaturvedi as an IAS Officer, as Comptroller and Auditor General of India and as Governor of Karnataka and Kerala. Pointing out that Chaturvedi was accorded Padma Vibhushan for his services to society, the Seer also recalled Chaturvedi’s visit to a Book House in Mysuru, when, upon finding that the English version of a book of five Volumes was not available, got the necessary sanction from Karnatak University for the Mutt to publish the Volumes.
