Mysuru: This year, the special attraction during the Nandi Dhwaja Puja that will be performed by CM Yediyurappa is the puja to Suvarna Pancha Kalasha donated by Sri Gowrishankar Nandi Dhwaja Sangha, Gowrishankar Nagar.
Speaking to Star of Mysore this morning, L. Mahadevappa (Udigala), President of the Sangha said that the Kalasha will be installed above the Nandi Dhwaja while the CM is performing the puja between 2.15 pm and 2.58 pm in Makara lagna on Oct. 8.
“This is for the first time such a Kalasha has been installed on the Nandi Dhwaja and we are doing it for the welfare of Karnataka and India. We are all ravaged by floods and are praying for Lord Shiva (signified by Nandi) to show mercy on people and bless us all,” he said.
