Mysore/Mysuru: Chinmaya Mission will be celebrating the 108th birth anniversary of Pujya Swami Chinmayananda Saraswathi, affectionately called as Gurudev by his disciples, by holding various programmes all over the world throughout the year
Chinmaya Mission, Mysuru, has organised a programme to celebrate this unique event in a special way. The Jayanthi celebration will be held at “Sri Gurudeva Datta Sannidhi,” #148, 6th Main, 3rd Stage, Gokulam, on Sunday (May 5) from 5.30 pm to 8 pm. Swami Mahamedhanandaji of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, Mysuru, will grace the occasion. Star of Mysore and Mysuru Mithra Founder-Editor K.B. Ganapathy will be the chief guest. Swamini Kashikanandaji, Resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission, will highlight the vision and mission of Swami Chinmayananda and the various activities of Chinmaya Mission.
Bhajans, Paduka Puja and arathi will be performed in reverence of Poojya Gurudev. All spiritual saadhaks and devotees of Mysuru may attend the event.
