Mysuru: Kala Vaibhava, the 4th Annual Day of Seshadripuram Independent PU College (SIPUC), Mysuru, was celebrated at Kuvempu Rangamandira here recently.
Sri Someshwaranatha Swamiji of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mutt, Mysuru, who graced the occasion called upon the students to eliminate the evil thoughts that one has about others.
He highlighted that equal opportunities should be given to all for overall development of the society and youngsters in particular.
Dr. Srikantaswamy, Director, CDC, UoM, who was the guest of honour, spoke about preserving and conserving environment for the future generation, which is better than handing over the advanced economy to them.
Dr. Wooday P. Krishna, Honorary General Secretary, Seshadripuram Educational Trust, presided. K. Sowmya Erappa, Principal, Seshadripuram Degree College and N. Archana Swamy, Principal, SIPUC, presented the annual report.
The formal function was followed by cultural programmes by the students.
