SWR to conduct Core Business Drive from Mar.12 to 25

To reach out to every business organisation and encourage them to use Railways

Mysuru: The Mysuru Division of South Western Railway (SWR) will be conducting a Core Business Drive from Mar.12 to Mar. 25.

The objective of the drive is to reach out for every business organisation and institution to encourage them to use Railways and proactively involve to solve their supply chain related issues.

The focus of the drive shall be to attract new customers, reduce waiting time of passengers and improve the overall experience of customers.

The conventional area of traffic shall be encouraged to do their best.  However the focus shall be on unconventional quarters to make a positive difference in loading of Goods Rakes & Parcel Vans.  Each and every supervisor and staff shall contribute their best to reach out to customers.

Loading and unloading shall be supervised physically by staff at all goods sheds and ensure early release of rakes and movement of the rakes will be planned accordingly. Customers are advised to utilise the station to station concession granted to them.

All Section Inspectors in coordination with ticket checking staff including squads will intensify ticket checking drives in vulnerable areas in the above period to maximise window sales. A couple of magisterial checks are also planned in this regard, according to a press release from Dr. S.G. Yathish, PRO and Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager.
