The Department of Studies in Commerce and Business Administration of Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Post Graduate Centre (PBMMPGC), Mysuru, had organised a ‘Symposium on Union Budget – 2017’ at its premises here recently.
Delivering the address on Union Budget, Dr. N. Muthukumar, President and Whole Time Director, Automotive Axles Limited, Mysuru, spoke about the inclusive growth of the economy, digital India, Skill India and also how this Budget provides opportunities for the Entrepreneurs.
The second session on ‘Agriculture Perspectives on Union Budget’ by Dr. B. Gopal Singh, Professor, DOS in Economics. He spoke about the Importance given for agricultural development in this Budget, Government Schemes and availability of credit for the development of agriculture in India.
The third session was on Implication of Taxes in Union Budget by B.C. Bhat, a Tax Consultant from city, who explained about the changes in the tax structure and Implementation of GST.
Vasudevamurthy, Hon. President of Mahajana Education Society (MES) and Dr. C.K. Renukarya, Director, PBMMEC, Mysuru, were present during the session.
Prof. SRS Khadri, Director, Department of Business Administration, welcomed the gathering. Dr. M. Bhavani, Head of the Department of Commerce, PBMMEC proposed a vote of thanks.
