RUDSET is one such Institute doing yeoman service to society and rural unemployed youths at large,” opined Dr. Arpitha Pratap Simha, social activist and wife of Pratap Simha, Mysuru-Kodagu MP.
She was speaking at the valedictory programme of Beauty Parlour Management and Women Tailor batch that concluded at RUDSET Institute here recently.
“The Institute provides different skill training programmes to women with a professional touch. The trainees should use their skills to become job givers,” opined H. Somashekar, former Director-General, National Academy of RUDSETI (NAR), Bengaluru, who was also present on the occasion.
K.N. Ananda Nayaka, Director, in his presidential address, observed that many dignitaries were visiting RUDSETI with a curiosity about its functioning.
N. Prasanna Kumar, Administrative Officer, SDME Society, Nagarathna Prasanna Kumar, Soorya Prakash, DST – Photography and Linganna, former Director, National Centre for Excellence of RSETIs (NACER), were also present along with staff members of RUDSET Institute. Certificates were distributed to the trainees, who too spoke on the occasion.
