T.B. Jayachandra in city to join CM while he files nomination papers

Mysuru:  Asserting that he has come to Mysuru to be along with Chief Minister Siddharamaiah when he (CM) files the nomination papers from Chamundeshwari Assembly segment, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Minister T.B. Jayachandra has said the Congress was sure to retain power in the May. 12 Assembly polls.

Speaking to presspersons at the CM’s residence in T.K. Layout here this morning, Jayachandra said the Congress would win Ten out of the 13 Assembly segments in his home district of Tumakur.

He further said that he himself was contesting from Sira and his son Santhosh was contesting from Chikkanayakanahalli Constituency.  Earlier in the day, Minister Tanveer Sait and Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa met the CM and discussed with him certain poll strategies.
