Puttaraj (70), former State football player, Vice-President of Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA) and a resident of Nazarbad, passed away on Monday in city.
He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday afternoon, according to family sources.
Office-bearers of Mysore District Football Association (MDFA) have condoled his death.
