Arun Nagegowda took charge as the new Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP) of Srirangapatna from outgoing Dy.SP Yogendranath, here on Monday. He has previously worked as Police Inspector in Srirangapatna, Vijayanagara in Mysuru and Belagavi district. After being promoted to Dy.SP rank, Arun was posted as Lokayukta Dy.SP in Mysuru. Earlier, he has also served with encounter specialist Abdul Azeem in curbing the anti-social elements in Bengaluru.
