Mysore/Mysuru: Nikhil P. Koundinya took over as Chairperson of CII – Young Indians (Yi), Mysuru Chapter while Abhijna Rajiv as its Co-Chair for 2021.
Profile: Nikhil Koundinya completed his B.E in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru and has a PG Diploma in Advanced Construction Management from NICMAR, Pune. He is currently Director – Projects at Pramur Constructions Pvt. Ltd., which is a family run business headed by his father S. Prakash.
Before joining the family business, he worked in Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. as a Sr. Project Engineer in notable real estate projects in Bengaluru. Previously, he served Yi as Co-Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Vertical (2018-19) and Chair of Entrepreneurship (2019-20), while volunteering and aligning with multiple verticals.
Abhijna Rajiv is a Science graduate from Mysore University, PGDMA holder in Advertising Management and Digital Marketing from MICA, Ahmedabad and currently pursuing MBA from Liverpool Business School.
She manages her family owned real estate business and is also the Founder of Marketing agency under the name Manyata Creations.
Before her entrepreneurial journey started, she worked for Dell India as a Team lead in Computer Sales division and also worked as a coach in HGS.
She has served Yi in 2016 as Chair – Swachh Bharat, 2017 – Chair HNOP, 2019 – Learning vertical, 2020 – Chair Masoom, according to a press release from M. Guruprasad, Executive Member, Yi – Mysuru and Mangaluru Chapters, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysuru Zone.
