Mysuru: The PADHA Trust, in association with Rotary Interact Club of Devdan Foundation, hosted a Talent Show to celebrate ‘World Down Syndrome Day’ at Nexus Centre City recently.
This event was sponsored by the first-ever Interact Club for special needs children, PADHA Trust and their friends.
The show featured a variety of performances, including dancing, singing and fancy dress showcasing the incredible talents of children with special needs.
Rotary dignitaries, special schools, educators, parents, and well-wishers, who attended the event, praised the efforts of young participants.
Chief guests Aunty Helen of Beautiful Gate Special Needs School and Vijai Bopanna of Rotary E Club of Mysuru, commended the initiative, highlighting the need for more such platforms to nurture and celebrate the abilities of special needs children.
Devdan Foundation, Beautiful Gate, Mythri, Grace Open School and Arunodaya are the few special schools of Mysuru who gave amazing performances symbolising teamwork, perseverance and confidence.
PADHA Trust and the Rotary Interact Club of Devdan Foundation expressed their gratitude to Nexus Centre City, sponsors, volunteers and supporters for making the event a grand success.
