Mysuru: The 2018 edition of the popular “Talents — Inter-School Cultural Competition” organised by Mysore Round Table-21 and Mysore Ladies Circle-9 will be held on Nov.17 at the Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan School in Gokulam.
The event provides a platform for the school students to present their talent and interests on stage as well as interact and exchange ideas with students from other participating schools.
The theme for the competition this year will be “Human-Animal Conflict: Finding Peaceful Coexistence.” All acts and performances will be based on the importance and need for us to create awareness about the ways to protect, nurture and treasure our wildlife so that we find a balance where both man and animal can coexist.
“Talents 2018” is an opportunity for teachers and students to interact and work together to educate our future generations on the importance of protecting wildlife and maintaining a peaceful coexistence between wildlife and human settlements.
The competition is open to students from 5th to 10th standard. Each team should have a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 20 students, per school. The competition categories include Song, Dance, Skit and musical instrument.
