Mysuru: Dr. Sudhendar H. Rao, Executive Director, MYRA School of Business, will be giving a lecture on ‘Artificial Intelligence & the Fourth Industrial Revolution’ at 6 pm on Apr.29 at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, #581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase. Dr. Rao is currently the Professor, Information Systems and Dean, Student Affairs at MYRA. He is also a Visiting Professor at University of South Pacific, Fiji.
He will be touching upon the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the technologies driving it.
Like the First Industrial Revolution’s steam-powered factories, the Second Industrial Revolution’s application of science to mass production and manufacturing, and the Third Industrial Revolution’s computerisation and digitisation, the Fourth Industrial Revolution’s technologies, such as artificial intelligence, genome editing, augmented reality, robotics, and 3-D printing, are rapidly changing the way humans create, exchange, and distribute value. As occurred in the previous revolutions, this will profoundly transform institutions, industries, and individuals. The talk is open to all. For details, contact Mob: 94498-19536.
