Talk on ‘Energy Crisis and International Conflicts’

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum has organised a talk on ‘Energy Crisis & International Conflicts’ by Dr. Bhamy V. Shenoy, Oil Expert & Social Activist, at 10.30 am tomorrow (Nov. 19) at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, #581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase.

Dr. Bhamy V. Shenoy, an IITM graduate, has a Ph.D in Business Administration from University of Houston. He worked for international oil company, ConocoPhillips from 1966 till 1987 in all facets of the oil industry. He has worked in London, Milan and Dublin. He returned to India after taking an early retirement at the age of 44.

As USAID consultant, he helped bring reforms in the oil sector in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Ghana, Mexico, etc. He has served as a Board Member of Georgian National Oil Company and others. Currently he is a Trustee of rural based NGO Sehgal Foundation besides being advisor to Pratham Mysuru, an NGO working in the field of universal education.

He will discuss various aspects of world energy crisis in the background of the Ukraine War and other international conflicts. The talk is open to all. For details, interested persons may contact Mob: 94498-19536.
