Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum (MOF) has organised a talk on ‘Dhurandhar the Film: Facts, Fiction and a Review’ by Ravi Joshi, ex-R&AW Officer at 10.30 am on Sunday (Dec. 28) at Kalpa Kshetra, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage.
Ravi Joshi is an old student of Manasagangothri, where he did his MA in Political Science in 1974 after which he went on to do his M.Phil on China from the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
He passed the Civil Services exams in 1977 and joined the Indian Ordnance Factories Service and later moved to the Ministry of Defence as Under Secretary in 1986. In August 1988 he joined the Indian external intelligence service, the Research & Analysis Wing and served there for over 25 years. He has had three diplomatic assignments in the Maldives, Kenya and Austria during which he also served as India’s Alternate Permanent Representative to two UN agencies, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) in Nairobi, Kenya and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna, Austria.
