Rotary Club of Ivory City Mysore has organised a talk on Nature and Conservation by Naturalist Ragoo Rao on Feb. 8 at 7 pm at Hotel Casa Clarks Inn on Hunsur Road here.
Profile: A born naturalist, Ragoo has specialised in the study of ethology which is the science of the study of animals in relation to their natural environment. He has dedicated himself to the study of birds and their environment, migration, habitat, behavior and all other related aspects of their life.
Ragoo, who has undergone training in the study of species and related photography in the USA, has been supported by Ornithological Institutions like Cornell Lab of Ornithology, USA, Natural History Society & Museums, UK and others. He has conducted studies of birds of California and Eastern States of USA too.
A member of the National Geographic Society, he is also an artist involved in water color landscape painting and digital painting especially of snow-scapes and winter scenes.
