Mysuru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait has received a death threat message on his cell phone from an anonymous sender. Following death threat, Sait has lodged a written complaint with the Home Minister and State DG&IGP, seeking appropriate action against the person who sent the message.
Following the threat, security has been spruced up at the Minister’s Mysuru and Bengaluru residences.
Meanwhile, City Police Commissioner Dr .A .Subrahmanyeswara Rao said that following directions from higher authorities, security has been tightened around the residence of the Minister at N.R. Mohalla in city.
Stating that investigation has begun into the threat and efforts are being made to trace the message sender, Commissioner Dr. A.S. Rao said that the probe details cannot be disclosed right now.
