Mysuru: The office of the District Health and Family Welfare Officer, in association with the District TB Control Centre, will be conducting a 16-day TB (Tuberculosis) detection and treatment drive from Nov.25 to Dec.10 in all taluks of the district.
The theme of the programme is ‘Leaders wanted for making a TB-free world – Eradicate TB completely and create history.’
TB tests are conducted and treatment is given free at all Government Health Centres and the patients are given Rs.500 per month financial support for nutritious food, according to a release.
