Mysore/Mysuru: Finally, the next of kin of a deceased teacher are a relieved lot as their application for her death certificate has been considered.
Muktha K. Murthy, a resident of Hebbal in the city was a teacher at a Government School. She was killed in a road accident 45 days ago, but her only daughter had to run from pillar to post for her mother’s death certificate, with the authorities concerned allegedly coming out with lame excuses.
A detailed report in this regard had been published in Star of Mysore on Jan. 30 under the headline-The Elusive Death Certificate. Taking the report into cognisance, Hootagalli City Municipal Council (CMC) authorities issued the Death Certificate on Thursday, the family members of Muktha informed SOM.
