Mysuru: The State Government has finally announced the timetable for the much-awaited transfers by the School teachers. The process for filing applications will begin from Dec.29 and the last date for submitting the applications is Jan.10.
The transfer process for the academic year 2017-18 will go on till March 4, 2018. The Public Education Department has released the timetable on Dec.23. Primary and High School teachers can submit applications along with documents seeking individual and mutual transfers from Dec.20 to Jan.10. The printed application form of the online application should be downloaded and after signing it, the teachers must submit it to the Block Education Officer (BEO) before Jan.12.
At the BEO level, the teachers have an opportunity to check the documents submitted on the internet and if there are any discrepancies, to correct it and confirm that all the information provided is true. They have been given time till Jan.16 for this process.
On Jan.19, the tentative list of those seeking request transfers (both within and outside the education block) will be announced and they can file objections if any before Jan.24.
The BEO must submit the request or mutual transfer list after obtaining all the original documents from the teachers to the Deputy Director before Jan.27.
Counselling Process: The counselling process for teachers seeking transfer from B Education Block to A Block, C Block to A Block and C Block to B Block will be held from Feb.8 to 12. High School Special Educators, Physical Education teachers, Primary School Headmasters and senior Headmasters counselling will be held on Feb.14 and 15. On Feb.20 internal block mutual transfer counselling will be held.
From Feb.21 to 24, counselling for primary school teachers seeking transfer outside the education block, from Feb.25 to 28 inter-block transfer and from March 1 to 3 outside the education block will be held.
Counselling for request transfer for Primary School teachers outside the education block begins from Feb.26 and end on March 1.
Counselling for request transfers for special educators and physical education teachers outside the Block will be held on March 2 and 3. On March 4 counselling for mutual transfer outside the block will be held.
Compulsory Transfer: Prior decisions will be taken regarding compulsory transfer of teachers at the BEO and Deputy Directors levels from Dec.29 to Jan.10. According to Transfer Rule 21 (3) in the first stage if there is more than 20 per cent vacancy at the taluk level, a list will be announced for special transfers on Jan.12.
