Hyderabad: Ending days of speculation, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has recommended dissolution of the State Assembly, paving way for snap polls.
The State Cabinet met in Hyderabad today to clear the proposal for early polls. The term of the Telangana Assembly ends in May next year. KCR met Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan after the Cabinet meeting and informed him about the decision to dissolve the Assembly which has 119 members.
