Melukote: Telangana Governor Narasimhan and his family members offered special puja at the Melukote Sri Chaluvanarayana Swamy Temple yesterday. He was welcomed by Pandavapura AC Shivanandamurthy, Tahsildar Hanumantharayappa, Temple EO Kumaraswamy and other officials with State honours.
After participating in a special puja at 5 pm, the Governor visited Vedanta Bhodhini Sanskrit School.
Speaking on the occasion, Narasimhan said that it was his longtime wish to visit Melukote Temple along with his family.
The Telangana Governor this morning visited Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and Sri Nimishamba Temple in Srirangapatna and returned to Melukote to take part in the ‘Brahmopadesha’ programme to be held at Ahobila Mutt.
