Mysuru: The 10-day ‘Nandini Sweet Festival’ (Nandini Sihi Utsava) organised by MyMUL (Mysore District Co-operative Milk Producers Societies Union Ltd.) was inaugurated by MyMUL Managing Director Dr. M.S. Vijaykumar at the Nandini Milk Parlour on KRS Road, opposite ESI Hospital in city on Dec. 24.
He inaugurated the 10-day ‘Nandini Sweet Festival’ by launching the latest Nandini product ‘Nandini Chakki Laddu,’ a new product by MyMUL.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijaykumar said, “From the last three years, MyMUL has been organising Nandini Sweet Festival and releasing a new product every year. Nandini Chakki Laddu is our new special product for this year. We have around 56 varieties of Nandini products. This time, we are introducing a special laddu made of wheat. During this 10-day Nandini Sweet Festival, we are offering 10% discount for sweats and 5% discount for cheese. The festival will be held till Jan. 2.”
Nandini Chakki Laddu, is a special laddu made of wheat flour, milk, cashew nuts, ghee and other ingredients.
MYMUL Director K.C. Balaram, A.T. Somashekhar, K.S. Kumar, Dakshayani, Basavaraju, Leela Nagaraju, Director (Technical) Raghu and others were present.
