Mysuru: The second edition of three-day Mysuru Open 2026 organised by Mysore Tennis Club (MTC) was inaugurated by Cycle Pure Agarbathi Managing Director Arjun Ranga at MTC premises in Chamarajapuram here this morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Arjun Ranga said, “Cycle Pure Agarbathi was delighted to support the Mysuru Open 2026 and to be a part of celebrating talent and sportsmanship.”
“Tennis has the power to inspire, unite and transform communities. Tournaments like this not only provide a platform for players to showcase their abilities but also foster a deep sense of camaraderie and inclusivity,” he added.
Earlier, MTC President Alagappan, who welcomed Arjun Ranga, highlighted the Club’s commitment to promote tennis at the grassroots level. He emphasised the Club’s mission of making tennis accessible to all, offering facilities for just Rs. 400 per month.
MTC Vice-President Moiz S. Vagh, Tournament Director Manjunath, Committee Member M.K. Ramesh and others were present. Players from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other States will be taking part in the tournament to be held till Apr. 12. Mysuru Open will be held in five categories — open singles and doubles, above 35 singles & doubles, above 45 singles & doubles, above 55 singles & doubles and above 65 singles & doubles.
