Mysore/Mysuru: NPS International, Mysore, came alive with colour, culture and creativity as the students of Classes 1 and 2 presented ‘The Great Indian Gombe Story,’ a vibrant cultural showcase in the school auditorium recently.
The one-and-a-half-hour production captivated the audience with its unique concept, in which traditional dolls came to life to narrate their stories.
The young performers transported the audience into the heart of Namma Mysuru’s rich cultural heritage, bringing forth the essence of local traditions, folk tales, classical dance forms, and festive celebrations.
Every scene was thoughtfully curated, blending expressive storytelling with spirited performances that reflected Karnataka’s deep-rooted artistic legacy.
The show not only highlighted the creativity and confidence of the young learners but also celebrated the diversity and vibrancy of Indian culture.
Through lively narration, colourful costumes and graceful choreography, the students beautifully portrayed how dolls symbolise history, emotion and tradition in Mysuru’s cultural tapestry.
The Great Indian Gombe Story culminated with the song ‘Love You Mysuru,’ which left parents and guests spellbound.
