Grand Master M.S. Thejkumar from Mysuru, will represent India in the Commonwealth Open Chess Championship 2018 to be held at New Delhi from June 26 to July 3.
GM Thejkumar is seeded eighth in the tournament. GM Deep Sengupta is the top seed and he is followed by GM Vaibhav Suri, GM C. Deepan, GM M.R. Lalith Babu, GM Vishnu Prasanna, GM Debashis Das, GM Swapnil S. Dhopade and are ranked from second to seventh respectively.
