Thick smoke causes tension near petrol bunk

Mysuru: Tension prevailed for sometime on Azeez Sait Main Road in Udayagiri as thick smoke emanating near a petrol bunk engulfed the surroundings of the petrol bunk on Thursday.

Public and motorists thought that it was a gas leakage and a major disaster would take place. But luckily nothing of that sort took place.

Meanwhile, petrol bunk staff clarified that the smoke was not because of gas leakage but because one of the staff had accidentally opened a fire extinguisher which caused the smoke.
