Thief won’t be spared even if he returns stolen items: Pralhad Joshi 

Congress rally is ‘Dhanandolana,’ not ‘Janandolana’

Mysore/Mysuru: Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Pralhad Joshi launched a scathing attack on CM Siddaramaiah, asserting that a thief won’t be spared even if he returns the stolen goods.

“Siddaramaiah claims he will return the 14 sites allotted to his family, but a thief won’t be spared just for returning the stolen item. He should be prosecuted and punished according to the law,” Joshi said at the concluding ceremony of the Mysuru Chalo Padayatra at Maharaja’s College Grounds in Mysuru yesterday.

He accused Siddaramaiah of falsely claiming that his political career is free of blemishes, stating, “Your entire career is marred with black spots.” Joshi further mocked the Congress’s event, calling it ‘Dhanandolana’ (a money-related movement) instead of ‘Janandolana’ (a people’s movement) where Rs. 25 crore was spent to bring people after paying money.

Joshi alleged that Congress leaders have amassed wealth through corruption and funnelled it to the party’s High Command. He flayed Siddaramaiah for playing the victim card by claiming he is targeted because he belongs to a backward class. “He diverted funds reserved for SC and ST. He is a corrupt CM who admitted that the Valmiki Corporation case involved not Rs. 187 crore but Rs. 89 crore,” Joshi said.

He further charged that corruption is ingrained in Congress’s DNA and accused the party of consistently insulting SC, ST and OBC communities.
