Mysore/Mysuru: Noted snake rescuer and former Corporator Snake Shyam said that the third anniversary of Sri Shivadatta Saimandir and Goshala established by him at Manti on KRS Road will be held tomorrow (Feb. 5). Announcing this at a press meet yesterday, Snake Shyam said that the temple anniversary could not be held for the past two years due to COVID pandemic and now the third anniversary will be held on Feb. 5. The celebration will begin with the performance of pujas and rituals at 6.30 am following which the Mahamangalarathi will take place in the afternoon.
Pointing out that environmental awareness too will be part of the celebration, he said that the programme will also feature awareness on cattle conservation.
Stating that the Goshala set up in the premises currently has 22 cows, he said that the Goshala is being maintained with money earned by snake rescue operations. He appealed the public to make generous contribution for Goshala.
