Mysuru: In separate incidents, three persons including a 19-year-old girl committed suicide in city.
In the first incident, Jhansirani (19) of Vidyaranyapuram, who was pursuing her first year B.Sc., course at a Government College, committed suicide by consuming excessive sleeping tablets.
Police have suspected that the girl may have ended her life as she was finding the course difficult which had depressed her. Vidyaranyapuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
In the second incident, Rajesh (25), a resident of Belawadi, whose wedding was fixed a few days ago, has committed suicide.
Rajesh was suffering from frequent stomach aches which led him to take the extreme step, the Police have suspected. Vijayanagar Police have registered a case.
In the third incident, K.M. Prabhu (48), a lab technician at K.R. Hospital and a resident of Bogadi, committed suicide by hanging self at his residence. Prabhu took the extreme step when his wife had gone out. Saraswathipuram Police, who have registered a case, said the reason for him to take the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
