Three-day Mind & Sex conference begins

Mysuru: Negative thoughts fill our minds all the time which leaves one with a feeling of dread. To overcome such negative thinking and have a healthy mind, one must try to reinforce the mind with as much positive thoughts as possible, said Indian Psychiatric Society President Dr. Mrugesh Vaishnav.

He was speaking at the three-day IPS National Midterm CME – 2019 on the theme ‘Mind and Sex’ organised by Department of Psychiatry, JSS Hospital at Sri Rajendra Centenary Auditorium, JSS Multispecialty Hospital, here this morning.

The scion of Mysore Royal Family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar inaugurated the conference. Organising Secretary Dr. T.S.S. Rao introduced the topic and JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research Principal Dr. H. Basavanna Gowdappa welcomed. JSS Hospital Director (Col.) Dayan, Conference President Dr. Ajit Bide and others were present. 

Apart from the seminars, the three-day conference also has a exhibition.
