Mysuru: On the occasion of Sri Purandara and Thyagaraja Aradhane, Ganabharathi in association with Devageetham Charitable Trust, Department of Kannada Culture, Bengaluru and the family members of late C.N. Narayana Rao and Susheelamma, has organised a three-day music festival at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in city from Feb.23 to 25.
On Feb.23 at 6 pm, there will be vocal performance by budding talents Dyuthi, Sriranjini, Abhijna, Gowtham, P.B. Keerthana and Adithi Naduthota. They will be accompanied by Srivatsa and Prerana on violin and Sumukha Shesha and Bhuvan on mridanga.
On Feb.24 from 6 pm to 7.15 pm, a Hindustani vocal performance will be held by Vid. Varchas Srinivas accompanied by Prabhu Rao on harmonium and Sujendra Rao on tabla and from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm, there will be a Karnatak vocal music by Vidu. Manya accompanied by C.V. Shruthi on violin and ShubhangSamaga on mridanga.On Feb.25, there will be Dasavani programme by renowned artistes from 10 am to 5.15 pm — Vid. Bellary M. Raghavendra, Vid. N.R. Prashanth, Vid. Manasa Nayana, Vidu. Chaithrika, disciples of Vidu. M. Bharathi and disciples of Vidu. M.A. Jyothi will be rendering devaranamas of various Haridasas. They will be accompanied by Vid. Keshav Mohankumar, Vid. Amogh Nadadur, Vid. Yashasvi and Vidu. C.V. Shruthi on violin and Vid. G.S. Ramanujan, Vid. P. Nataraj, Vid. Vikram Bharadwaj, Vid. Subrahmanya Kumar, Vid. M. J. Kiran Kumar and Vid. A. Radhesh on mridanga.
