Mysuru: With this year’s Dasara festivities being inaugurated this morning, Raitha Dasara will be held on Oct. 5 at 9.30 am in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple opposite Mysore Palace North Gate.
The event will be inaugurated by Agriculture Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy in the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar, Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, Social Welfare and District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa and Animal Husbandry Minister K. Venkatesh.
The Agri Expo and Fish Mela will be inaugurated at JK Grounds at 11 am followed by Raitha Dasara stage programme at Platinum Jubilee auditorium at 11.15 am. Pet Show and prize distribution will be held on Oct. 6 and State-level Cow Milking Competition will be held at 6.30 am on Oct. 7 followed by prize distribution at 5.30 pm.
