Three persons commit suicide in city

Mysuru:  In separate cases, three persons have committed suicide in city.

In the first case, a 50-year-old man has allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at the foot of Chamundi Hill.

The deceased is Vishwanath, a resident of Hunsur town and the body was found yesterday morning at the foot of Chamundi Hill.

K.R. Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary. The Police, after summoning the relatives of the deceased, made arrangements for post-mortem.

Meanwhile, the Police have suspected that financial issues may have forced Vishwanath to take the extreme step.

In the second incident, Mahesh (24), a resident of Bidaragudu in Sinduvalli, committed suicide by consuming poison at his sister’s house in Sinduvalli.

He committed suicide when the family had gone out, according to Police. A case has been registered at Mysuru South Police Station in this regard.

In the third case, Farhan (24), a resident of Rajiv Nagar, committed suicide by hanging self at his sister’s house at Azeez Sait Nagar in city on Monday.

He committed suicide when the family members had gone to Srirangapatna and the reason for Farhan to take the extreme step is not known, according to Police.

Udayagiri Police have registered a case in this regard.
