In a mass transfer of Police Inspectors initiated by the State Government, 46 have been transferred including three of city. R. Vijay Kumar is posted to Saraswathipuram, Cheluvegowda to Hebbal, M. Mahadevaswamy (now in Nazarbad) to Gundlupet, M.C. Rajashekar to Nanjangud, Ravi Nayak to Hanur in Chamarajanagar district and A.H. Vasanth to Maddur Circle.
